There are many golf courses in St. Louis City and County. Some are public with many being owned by the municipalities in which they are found such as the St. Ann Golf Course. Anyone can play at public courses with tee times on a "first come, first served" basis. Other golf courses are semi-private and might have a yearly membership fee with added benefits such as Aberdeen Golf Course in Eureka. Members get first choice of tee times and if there are any left for a particular day, then non-members can play. There are also private golf courses, such as the Old Warson Country Club in Ladue, that a yearly membership fee is charged on top of the initial fee that was paid to first become a member. Private courses are the most exclusive and can only be used by members and their guests. The courses also vary in size as well as design such as the 9-hole course that is found at the public Berry Hill Golf Course in Bridgeton or the 27-hole public Tapawingo National Golf Club in Sunset Hills. All in all, St. Louis County has a golf course for everyone!
